The pure product is colorless liquid. Pretilachlor TC is brown liquid. The boiling point is 135℃（0.133kPa）, density1.07g/cm3(20℃), Refractive rate: 1.5301. Vapour pressure（20℃）1.73×10-3Pa. The solubility is 50mg/L (20℃ water). It can be soluble with many organic solvents . The half life is 20～50d in the soil.
【Toxicity】:
Low toxicity. TC acute oral LD50 is 6099mg/kg(trial mouse), Acute dermal LD50>3100mg/kg, Acute Inhalation LC50>2.8mg/L (4h); Feeding on trial dogs for half year and the non-effect dosage is 7.5mg/kg per one day . Animal trial show there is no cancer or abnormality transfer . Crucian LC50 is 2.3mg/L, rainbow trout LC50 is 0.9mg/L (avearge 96h); It is few irritative to skin, no irritative to eyes. Slight toxic to bees.
