Description:
Polysuccinimide is a non hygroscopic, brownish yellow powder that is virtually insoluble in water. It has an
average molecular weight of approx. 4500. When contact with water, very slow hydrolysis takes place to produce
free polyaspartic acid. Depending on the pH, alkali accelerates the hydrolysis, resulting in more or less neutralized
polyaspartic acid as a hydrolysis product.
Application:
The polysuccinimide can be also copolymerized with other corrosion inhibitors to produce the single agents to
remove the scale formation. Through its slow dissolving process, it is able to break down existing deposits by
forming free polyaspartic acid. As a result, it can be also used in oil recovery processes as a scale inhibitor for
sparingly soluble alkaline earth salts.
Package:
Normally In 20 or 25kg PP/PE 3layers bag.
