Characteristics: Lemon yellow crystal or powder. Briny, soluble in water, not soluble in ethanol, ether, methyl acetate and liquid ammonia. Its density is 1.882 ~ 1.889. It loses water in crystal if heated up to 70 °C and produces white dehydrating compound when heated up to 100 °C . Giving off N2 when burning and produces potassium cyanide. Its solution will decompose to ferric hydrate when meeting light.
