Property：
White multiaperture lump granule or honeycomb solid with bitter odor. Melting point: 772℃. Boiling point: >1600℃. Density: 2.15. Dissolving in water, alcohol, acetone, acetic acid, formic acid, pitfall, naphthyridine, acetamide, insoluble in ether.

Use：
Anhydrate calcium chloride is common dryer of industry and laboratory. It can be used to dry nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, chlorine hydride, sulfur dioxide, etc. But, it can not be used to dry alcohol and ammonia.
It can be used as raw material of metal calcium, barium chloride and sorts of calcium salt in inorganic industry.
It can be used as antifreeze in building industry.
It can be used as culture medium of monolithic breeding in microbiology industry.
In analysis chemistry, it can be used to test steel carbon content, etc.
