Explosive limit is 4%～17% (volume). It is dissolving in water and alcohol and acetate is also dissolving in water.

Use：

It is mainly used to produce vinyl acetate, acetic anhydride, acetate fiber, acetic ester and metal acetate. It also can be used as solvent and raw material of pesticide, medicine and dye. It is an important organic chemical raw material that is widely used in synthesis fiber, coating, medicine, pesticide, food additive, dyeing and weaving, etc.
